Survivor: Samoa

I’m watching Survivor: Samoa right now, and I just have to say, ‘Evil Dwarf’ Russell is a total stud. It’s wrong, oh, so wrong to love him. …but I do.

3 hidden immunity Idols found by one man.

That’s impressive.

Muah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! I could NOT stand him at first, and he is growing on me too- after I finished watching the last episode, I caught myself thinking he was kinda cool- then I thought, “Oh, that’s just not right!!!” - remember the episode when he told the others he was a fireman and lost his home in hurricane Katrina? What a tool!

    Mabs,

Love him or despise him, that condescending wanker (’tool‘) was already a multi-millionaire oil tycoon before playing an evil dwarf on Survivor. *lol* That is, if he didn’t feed the producers of the show a line of bull too. His Hurricane Katrina story had me rolling my eyes in disbelief. …But then, I thought, you know, ya gotta give him credit for creativity.

I hate to admit it, but Russell’s clever little mind just keeps making him sexier in my eyes. …Is it wrong that I feel all warm and fuzzy inside every time he grins? :D

Didn’t he tell them he lost his dog in the hurricane too? Oh, such an A.H., but now— he’s growing on me a bit. Just a tiny bit.

    Mabs,

Heh. He did. That was SO bad.
    …But c’mon, admit it.
    He’s growing on you a lot. ;)

Not a fan of this whole reality TV era (I’m assuming it is reality TV with the mention of Survivor) but it is harmless fun and seems to give millions of people a lot of pleasure.

Not like in the UK where it is rammed down our throats and we have almost no option but to watch it or turn off the TV.

    Hi Dean,

I’m not a big fan of reality TV either, but I do enjoy Survivor. Can’t say as I know too much about UK programming, but I imagine that must be annoying. I don’t really watch too much TV anyway, so turning it off would be a good thing for me. :)

I don’t watch any reality tv, as none of it even slightly resembles reality…really I don’t get why so many watch the stuff. It’s mind numbing trashing each other, back stabbing. I don’t care for that.

A true shoe on survival would be about people pulling together to make it, to stay alive, to stay healthy. Not trying to vote off the most capable.

    Sandy,

Good point, but I’m curious. Would you tune in each week to watch it if that’s what it was about?
