Lately, I’ve been getting a few comments on my blog that have made me furrow my brow in thought. I’m musing, you see, and my inner monologue goes something like this:

Huh?

Is that spam?

…’cuz if it is, it’s really quite good. I mean, the spammer had to have read my post in order to leave that comment. And it had to be a spammer, because their link doesn’t point to a blog. But then again…

Maybe it’s really a blogger, but they’re trying to promote a site that they really like ‘cuz they think I’ll enjoy it.

Putz.

I don’t watch commercials, what makes you think I enjoy your advertisement here? Promote somewhere else, thank you very much. This is a blog, dagnaberitz! Act accordingly.

Sometimes I get a little cranky when I’ve missed my morning dose of caffeine.

But honestly… I’m confused. I’ve decided that from here on out, if you’re spam and I like your comment, it stays. But if your link doesn’t point to a blog, then the link gets removed.

I don’t think that’s unreasonable. Do you?
