Have you ever had a pickled pepper?

I haven’t. Heck, I don’t even know for certain whether or not they exist. But as my washing machine began to agitate, I swear, by golly, this is what it said:

Pick a pack of pickled peppers
Pick a pack of pickled peppers
Pick a pack of pickled peppers
Pick a pack of pickled peppers
Pick a pack of pickled peppers…

Over and over again. Weird, that.

And yeah, I know that it’s supposed to be ‘peck’ and not ‘pack’. Tell that to my washing machine, okay.

I’ve been doing a bit of housework, took the time to balance my checkbook, and now I’m trying to decide whether to take blanket and book out to the front lawn for a bit of relaxation and sunshine, or make a run to the store for more laundry detergent. Wow. What exciting choices.

I think I’ll opt for the sunshine.

…Having your hubby home on Worker’s Comp leave going on four weeks now.

And not only do you *still* enjoy his company, but you dread the day he will have to go back to work, because you know that you will miss him terribly.
